Topics: Unveiling the Power of His resurrection (Phil. 3:10)

Minister: Pastor David A. Ishaya

Most people know Jesus but don’t know the power of His resurrection. As a believer, you are not transformed or not different from unbelievers without knowing the power of His resurrection.

Resurrection scripturally means the raising of Christ from the dead on the third day.

Importance of the Resurrection of Christ

Resurrection literally is revival from inactivity.

o The resurrection of Christ is the most important event in Christendom because without this event our faith is vain and we would still have been sinners. 1 Corinthians 15:16-17; 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 1 Corinthians 15:19-20. Our hope in Christ should be beyond this earth because there is a better life after that, on earth.  1 Corinthians 15: 19-20

o This event of resurrection is what makes Christianity different from other religions

The first miracle of Christ after resurrection is an eye-opening miracle because the veil covering the eyes of men was taken away. The high priest of the old only enters the holies of the holies with blood and this was why Jesus shared his blood and from this day had direct access to God without offering of any blood. Luke 24: 30-31

In this kingdom you possess anything as far as your eyes can see hence the importance of the opening of our eyes spiritually (i.e revelation). Therefore, the resurrection power launches us into new realm of revelation of his word. Revelation is also light and this is what dominates over the kingdom of this world. Ephesians 1:18-20

The power of His resurrection delivers instantly . 1 Cor. 15: 51-52

The power of His resurrection is ordained for our supernatural change of story or level. Luke 24:5-6.
