Sunday teaching Series: Enough is Enough

Spiritually, every child of God belongs to the ever-conquering tribe of Judah (Gen. 49:8-12). Spiritually, we are the seed of Abraham – Galatians 3:29 – and we are part of the tribe of Judah because Jesus is the lion of the tribe of Judah, Revelation 5:5. Every redeemed of the Lord belongs to the lineage of Jesus – Hebrews 2:11, Matt. 12:50, John 17:18.

As Christians, we are spiritual lions, but the lion in us is only manifested if it is stirred up. Proverbs 30:30, 2 Timothy 1:7.

There are different brands of spiritual wine that helps to stir up the lion in us. They are;

  1. The Vision wine

Vision is not our night dreams, but it is having the insight to the plan and purpose of God for your life, or seeing the ultimate of life as ordained by God. Until you can see the ultimate of life as ordained by God, you will be enslaved by your present circumstances. Vision also means seeing beyond your present circumstances as ordained by God. Habakkuk 2:1-3, Proverbs 28:18, Jeremiah 20:9.

You cannot hear the voice of God and not be intoxicated, because the voice cannot be resisted. Genesis 12:1-2. Understand that genuine visionaries are unstoppable. Eg: Paul. Acts 26:19, Philippians 1:21, 1 Corinthians 9:16 & 24.

  1. The Love Wine

You cannot love God and not be intoxicated. The Holy Ghost enables you to become a love-driven believer. Romans 5:5, Romans 8:35. You cannot be in love with God and still be complaining. The love of God is stronger than death. Daniel 3:14-28; 6:10-23.

Understand that violent faith is key to putting an end to all satanic assault. Enough is enough is beyond just prayer, but it is a decree.

This talks about all round favor. Favor means to be preferred, to be endorsed, to be supported, or to be assisted with grace.

Favor is the heritage of the redeemed. Psalms 5:12, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21. Some of the redeemed do not enjoy favor, because they lack good understanding. Proverbs 13:15, Hosea 4:6. The understanding here is that there is no need required from God that does not put a demand on us. Deut. 28:1-3.

One cannot be favored without doing anything. Conditions to enjoy divine favor are:

  1. Salvation

2 Corinthians 5:21. Salvation is a master key to the life of divine favour.

  1. You must live right in the sight of God.

You must live a righteous life. 1 John 3:7. E.g.: Noah. Genesis 6:7-9. Grace is not a license to live a sinful life. Romans 6:1-2.

  1. The love of God

If you love God, you must love what God loves, and the love of souls is the proof of God’s love. The love of God turns us into pacesetters. John 21:15, 1 Corinthians 2:9.

Understand that as we favor the advancement of God’s kingdom, we are brought into a realm of divine favor. Psalms 102:13-14. The secret to fearful dimension of favor is the commitment to kingdom advancement endeavors.

  1. Sow a seed of favor

Divine Favor is provoked by sowing a seed of favor. Proverbs 11:25-27, Galatians 6:7, Ephesians 6:8.

  1. Engage in favor-provoking praise

Psalm 67:5-7, Mark 6:21, Acts 2:47.

  1. Prophetic encounter

Anytime God wants to favor His people, he sends a prophet. Exodus 11:2-3; 12:35-36, Hosea 12:13. Prophets are agents of divine favor, as well as misfortune. Eg: Elijah. 1 Kings 17:6-18. The communion enables us to enjoy all what Jesus enjoyed. Luke 2:52.
